I/O expansion
module,
suitable for Leomatic IPC cards (i.e.:
P37,
P38).
It supports 16 digital inputs + 8 digital outputs, high-speed,
photo-coupled.

These I/O are
"high-speed" because they are directly handled by the DSP
processor of the hosting card (typical response time 100
µs), regardless of the main CPU loop
time.

These I/O are
photo-coupled (galvanic insulation of the field-ground and the
logic-ground), so insuring the maximum protection from
electrical noises or accidental damages.

Output sections use
solid-state components, granting protection against
short-circuits, over-temperatures, overloads, inversions of
filed-power polarities.
