IPC BUS

  • 8 analog Inputs + 4 analog Outputs, suitable for a Leomatic IPC system.

  • On board jumpers allow to configure each input channel for voltage or current signal
    and to set the desired range.

  • Based on a DSP microprocessor, P37 can acquire and convert the input channels in a very short time; it can also perform some particular elaborations on the acquired samples.

  • Each input channel may be digitally filtered, according to a SW programmable value.

  • On board firmware integrates PID algorithms, with programmable parameters,
    to drive each of 4 output channel as function of one input channel.

  • A digital I/O expansion is allowed, inserting the P39 module in the dedicated connector.

  • It is possible to ask Leomatic for a customized Firmware version.

 

Hardware Specifications

  • 8 analog input channels.
  • On board jumpers allow to configure each of them as voltage signal in one of the following ranges:
    • ± 10    Volts
    • ± 2.5   Volts
    • ± 5      Volts (option on demand)
    • ± 1.25 Volts  (option on demand)
  • or as current signal in the range:
    • ± 20 mA
  • 4 analog output channels in the range:
    • ± 10 Volts
  • A/D and D/A converters resolution:
    12 bits.
  • Based on a DSP microprocessor at 40 MHz.
  • Conversion time of 1 channel: 10 µs.
  • P30 can generate an interrupt to the main CPU, that can be selected by jumpers between 2 different IRQ.
  • Up to 16 P30 cards on the same system(4 jumpers to set address), for a total of 128 analog inputs + 64 analog outputs.
  • Digital filter allowed on each input channel; time value (ms) can be programmed via SW.

 

  • PID algorithms parameters are fully programmable: Kp, Kd, Ki, Kff, etc...

 

  • On board firmware can be specialized to perform particular elaborations (for test or special cycles) through a simple "download" via CPU P41

Leomatic supplies P37 cards with a free-of-charge software library, which contains procedures/methods allowing to handle all of hardware resources and to realize a software user's interface for the specific application.

Supplied software also contains some "demo" source-files; they show how to use the software library from inside some programming languages.
